The 5S principles of Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain are basic requirements for modern manufacturing factories. Many factories perform very well in terms of cleaning and maintaining cleanliness. They can also effectively organize and arrange production tools. However, sometimes, for many semi-finished components or finished industrial parts, the methods used for storage and organization might not be ideal. It’s not due to a lack of effort, but traditional plastic turnover trays cannot meet the requirements. On one hand, hard plastic may not have dividers to separate multiple components; on the other hand, for parts that require shock protection, hard plastic trays are not a good choice. For better organization and protection of product components, EVA trays made through integral molding and carving are an excellent option. On one hand, EVA has good shock absorption capabilities; on the other hand, high-hardness EVA can also meet the needs of short-distance turnover boxes without needing extra boxes. More importantly, EVA provides excellent protection for parts that will be used in subsequent assembly. Neatly storing components is more conducive to automated production, and using EVA trays as component protection and turnover trays has become a trend in modern production lines.
